Pat Foster has been a guide for over twenty-five years and is an avid hunter. Dana Fowler was born and raised in Wyoming and spent many years in Montana. In 2007 they found a outfitter business for sale in an outstanding area of Montana and purchased it for it's game, size of area, permitted uses, and layout in the DeerLodge/Beaverhead National Forest.
Jake and Johnny and the wagon which is a Replica of the "Yellowstone People Hauler" were added to the business in 2008.
Jake and Johnny are insured under there owner R-Ranches, LLC dba Wildskies Outfitting. which is insured and bonded by North Wyoming Insurance.
We are also licensed in the City of Buffalo.
Wild Skies Outfitting operates out of the Pintler Wilderness Area in the DeerLodge/Beaverhead Mountain Range out of Philipsburg and Anaconda Montana. This is our second year of operations and we are looking forward to a busy season.
